The Freedom Cannabis production facility in Edmonton, AB is a 126,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art cannabis production center that focuses on quality control and safety. Their modern facility utilizes the latest technology to produce premium medical grade cannabis products. It features an indoor grow room with precise climate controls, advanced nutrient management systems, and superior air exchange capabilities.
This is a food grade Cannabis production facility that incorporates strict anti-contamination protocols. Each grow room in the facility has its own independent air handling dehumidification unit that is controlled by a Priva control system. The fertigation system is automated and distributes fertilized irrigation water to all rooms in the facility and can have the fertilizer mixer changed and the system flushed automatically.

Phase 1 of the Freedom Cannabis project had to be completed and operational in 10 months. Arpi’s North joined the project at the 50% design stage and assisted the consultants through design, equipment selection and procurement. As a result, Phase 1 was completed on schedule. The entire mechanical fabrication and installation scope incorporated Building Information Modeling (BIM).
